Every person who uses or allows the use of any reproduction or facsimile of the official
seal or logo of San Mateo County, as permitted in section 2.050.10, for the purpose
of conveying, or in any manner reasonably calculated to convey, a false impression
of sponsorship by or approval of the County of a product, service, event or other
matter, or for commercial purposes, is guilty of a misdemeanor. Improper use as defined
in this section shall not include any use authorized by law or otherwise protected
under the United States or California Constitutions.
