§ 2.24.060. Adoption and annual review of the strategic plan.

The Commission shall adopt an adequate and complete Strategic Plan for the support and improvement of early childhood development within the County which is consistent with and in furtherance of the purposes of the California Children and Families First Act of 1998 and any guidelines previously adopted by the California Children and Families First Commission. The Commission shall on at least an annual basis conduct a periodic review of the Strategic Plan and revise the plan as it deems necessary or appropriate. Prior to the adoption of the plan and prior to the adoption of any revision to the plan under its periodic review, the Commission shall conduct at least one public hearing on the plan. Upon adoption of the County Strategic Plan or any revision of the plan, the Commission shall submit the plan to the state commission.
