§ 5.154.100. Short title, authority, and applicability.

A.

This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Affordable Housing Impact Fee Ordinance."

B.

The fees established pursuant to this chapter are adopted under the authority of article XI, Section 7 of the California Constitution, which provides that "[a] county or city may make and enforce within its limits all local, police, sanitary, and other ordinances and regulations not in conflict with general laws," and in accordance with the findings made in connection with the adoption of the Affordable Housing Impact Fee Ordinance.

C.

The Affordable Housing Impact Fee Ordinance shall apply to the full extent permitted by the statutes and laws of the State of California.
