§ 7.52.010. Loading zones described—Unlawful to park in.

  • No person shall stop, park or leave standing any motor vehicle, whether attended or unattended, for a period of time longer than is reasonably necessary for the loading or unloading of passengers or freight, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in cases of emergency, or in compliance with the directions of a peace officer in any area declared by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors as a Loading Zone and where appropriate signs or markings are installed and maintained as provided in section 7.28.020 of this code.

    Loading zones may be designated as passenger or commercial loading zones, and may include bus stops. The Board of Supervisors may designate loading zones to be effective at all times or during specified hours and days.
